Donate food

Our foodbank relies on your goodwill and support.

Over 85% of the food distributed by foodbanks in The Trussell Trust network is donated by the public – that’s why your food donations are absolutely vital to our ability to give everyone referred to us a balanced and nutritious three day supply of food.

Our shopping list on the right shows the food items that we need right now.

To stay up to date with our most needed items, please download the BanktheFood app available on Android and Apple. It is an amazing tool to highlight needs and available locations for foodbanks across the country.

If you are happy to drop off food donations, we have food collection points in Tesco, Morrisons, the Co-op (Worle High Street and Severn Road), Sainsburys, Waitrose, Aldi Queensway Worle and Asda, OneStop Shop Locking road, Asda Locking Express Petrol as well as many local churches and local venues including both Hornets and Weston Rugby clubs.

You can also donate via Bankuet. Bankuet collects financial donations for our foodbank which we can use to order the items we require the most.

Please note that we receive financial top ups for donations received in the Tesco and Asda PCPs (Permanent Collection Points). Therefore donations left in the Tesco and Asda PCPs are intended for food that has been purchased in-store. Any food that has been purchased in a different store and brought into the PCP at Asda or Tesco should be sealed (in a bag for example) and clearly labelled as purchased elsewhere.

We always welcome donations and promise to use them to provide help to people in crisis. Occasionally we send food to other nearby foodbanks to support their work particularly if they experience shortages. This ensures your donations go to help people wherever in the UK they are.

Please contact us if you have any questions about donating food.
