The Yr 3 & 4 of Becket Primary School invited us to their very first Pop-up restaurant on April 3rd. Over a 7 week period the children had been researching healthy food, supply chains for restaurants and other food related issues and had invited us to talk to them about the foodbank.
At the restaurant we were offered delicious lasagna, pizza, a very healthy chicken wrap and a enigmatic stone age stew followed by fruit and chocolate fountain.
Guests were invited to pay “as they feel” and all the proceeds of the evening were distributed to the foodbank.
Such an amazing and innovative evening.
